Initial Privacy Notice

The Gramm Leach Bliley Act requires dealers extending credit to their customers to comply with privacy provisions outlined in the Act. These privacy requirements are extensive and vary depending on the practices of the dealership. Generally, dealers that do not sell or share their data with outside companies can use this stock privacy notice to provide disclosure to their customers as required by the Act. Before deciding to use WATDA's Initial Privacy Notice, dealers should review all of the legal bulletins developed by WATDA and NADA to determine whether additional compliance action is required. The Initial Privacy Notice is a two-part form so that, after signing, the customer and the dealer both keep a copy. Size 8 1/2" x 11 3/4".
