Notice to Lessee Concerning Stmt Req End of Lease

Lessors must notify lessees in writing that the lessee will be required to provide a written disclosure to the lessor regarding vehicle mileage at the end of the lease and how the vehicle was used. While this notice may be provided any time prior to the end of the lease, it is recommended to give notice at the beginning of the lease so the lessee is clear on his or her responsibility to not tamper with the odometer during the lease term. Notification is required for all leases before the end of the lease period if such notification was not made at the beginning of the lease.
