The revised Used Motorcycle Disclosure Form has many features designed to improve dealership efficiency and bottom line. The safety inspection headings on the form match chapter headings in Trans 305 so language is in full compliance with Trans 305 and provides a clear starting point for your vehicle inspection personnel. Trans 139 requires that a motorcycle disclosure form be prepared for every used motorcycle prior to offering the vehicle for sales. Dealers have the option of displaying the disclosure form on the motorcycle or maintaining the form in a file that is available at the customer's request. Dealers are required to provide the disclosure form when a customer makes an offer for the vehicle before drafting the Motor Vehicle Purchase Contract and delivery. The form is a two-part form, size 11" x 8 1/2". One ply is provided to the customer at delivery. The second ply is retained in the dealership's record.
