The Notice About Liability For Damage To the Rental Car (Notice) is provided to rental car customers when the rental car company offers a Damage Waiver. If you are providing a service rental, or if you are renting something other than a motor vehicle designed or used primarily for carrying persons, you are not required to provide a Notice to the customer. When offering a Damage Waiver the Notice must be given to the customer prior to his or her signing the Motor Vehicle Rental Agreement.
